SAFETY BATON SYSTEM CERTIFICATION

One (1) day instructional period
Eight (8) hours plus instruction

Complete instruction on Safety System policy and procedures, target area identification, footwork and body mechanics, defensive striking application drills, come-along/transportation techniques, and attribute development.

SAFETY BATON SYSTEM INSTRUCTOR CERTIFICATION

Two (2) days instructional period
Eight (8) hours plus instruction

Instructor candidates assist in the conduct and teaching of a basic course with a full course and instructional methodology review and complete Safety Baton System testing and final certification.

EDGED WEAPON AWARENESS / STRATEGIC KNIFE DEFENSE CERTIFICATION

Two (2) days instructional period
Eight (8) hours plus instruction per day

Complete instruction on edged weapons familiarization, footwork and body mechanics, methods and angles of attacks, defensive knife tapping for control or disengagement and firearms employment. Advanced course work includes counter and re-counter principles and use of the edged weapon as an officer survival tool.

E.W.A./STRATEGIC KNIFE DEFENSE INSTRUCTOR CERTIFICATION

Four (4) days instructional period
Eight (8) hours plus instruction

Instructor candidates assist in the conduct and teaching of a basic course with a full course and instructional methodology review and complete Edged Weapon Awareness / Strategic Knife Defense course testing and final certification.

EMPTY-HANDS SAFETY SYSTEM CERTIFICATION*

One (1) day instructional period
Eight (8) hours plus instruction

Complete instruction in the Safety System policy and procedures, transferable technology principles, empty-hands controlling and restraining methods, counter-assault, counter-locking, and counter-grappling tactics and techniques.

EMPTY-HANDS SAFETY SYSTEM INSTRUCTOR CERTIFICATION**

One (1) day instructional period
Eight (8) hours plus instruction

Instructor candidates assist in the conduct and teaching of a basic course with a full course and instructional methodology review and complete Empty-Hands Safety System course testing and final certification.

SAFETY HANDCUFFING*

Four (4) hours instruction
Certificate of completion

Instruction includes basic handcuffing review, transferable technology principles, Safety Handcuffing defensive tactics and techniques, single handcuff control methods, and transportation techniques.

FIREARMS DISARMING and FIREARMS RETENTION*

Four (4) hours instruction
Certificate of completion

Instruction includes transferable technology principles and comprehensive Handgun and Rifle/Shotgun Disarming and Retention tactics and techniques from the holster, carry, combat ready, and firing positions.
