The PTGO Traditional Ranking System is the original ranking
structure instituted by Grand Tuhon Gaje in 1972 and is recognized
worldwide. The system curriculum listed with each rank is
the minimum requirement for certification. Time designations
for rank are approximate – rank is awarded based upon
demonstrated knowledge, understanding, and skill. All certified
instructors are authorized to promote students up to the level
below their respective rank. All Instructor rank certifications
are forwarded directly to Grand Tuhon Gaje for approval and
archived.
Certification in the Indigenous Mandala Ranking System is
conferred by Grand Tuhon Gaje only. Mandala rank may be given
in addition to, or in lieu of the traditional rank. Certification
in the indigenous Mandala ranks are awarded in recognition
of leadership, meritorious achievement and technical advancement.
