Meet Suzi B.
I met Maggie when I decided to take her weight training class and immediately really appreciated her style of teaching. She provides a great workout while being sensitive to the issues that women have with their bodies – both aging and otherwise! She always has a smile and a positive attitude and that makes all the difference. I really appreciate the customized workout that I get and the way that I ALWAYS feel better (both emotionally and physically) when I leave. I definitely look better at 43 than I did at 40 thanks to Maggie. I can guarantee that I will always leave there feeling better and healthier than when I arrived!
Meet Albert M.
I have been an avid bicyclist for more than 30 years. Although the sport is an excellent heart-healthy exercise, a few minor crashes coupled with the aging process began to interfere with my rides. A torn rotator cuff, sporadic back pain, and a touchy knee resulted in more couch time than bicycle time. My physical therapist suggested a strength training program that focused on upper body strength and core conditioning. I searched for a trainer who could work with my limitations yet still deliver results. I found that trainer in Maggie.  Almost three years later, I am pleased with my progress. Improvements in my core strength have reduced those nagging backaches and have allowed me
to ride longer distances. My upper body is also stronger and more flexible and I have noticed fewer stress injuries and muscle soreness. Even though I’m not the fastest rider in the pack, I finished the El Tour de Tucson this year and plan to continue for years to come.
Meet Marge P.

In 2003, I was out in the yard working when I tried to get up off my knees. I couldn’t.  I had to crawl on my hands and knees over stones to get to a place where I could pull myself up.  I told my doctor and he decided to do a bone scan. He said I had osteoporosis and suggested I join a fitness club and do strength training, which I did.

After two years and another bone scan I had stabilized my osteoporosis.  I have been working with Maggie once a week and two other days I work out independently on strength machines.

Update: Marge has recently returned to her training program after having surgery for a hernia. It won’t be long before she’s back up on the stairmill (it works like a treadmill but has collapsing steps you must keep up with as you climb), which helps her keep in shape for climbing 18 stairs when she visits her daughter’s home in Oklahoma.
